Reinforced Concrete

The reinforced concrete consists of Portland cement, mineral aggregates, and water, in which steel has been embedded in such a manner that the steel and concrete act together.

Portland cement conforming to the requirements in Pakistan is used for the pipe.

Steel Requirements

Reinforcement consist of wire conforming to the specification for cold dawn steel wire for concrete reinforcement ( ASTM Designation A-82) or deformed steel wire A-496 or welded steel wire fabric A-185 or billet steel bars ASTM A-15.
